Century's Misfortune Sparks Overwhelming Support

 

CENTURY INDUSTRIAL COATINGS, INC.

JACKSONVILLE, TEXAS – At approximately midnight this morning, a fire broke out at Century Industrial Coatings’ paint manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, Texas.  Emergency crews responded to the scene and the fire has been contained.  No one was injured in the fire.  

 

Century Industrial Coatings is working with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and will continue to cooperate with and support the TCEQ’s efforts at the site.  Century is not in a position to comment about the cause of the fire at this time—all of the facts and circumstances are not yet known and the investigation is ongoing with local authorities.
